Magnifique album.


 

Je connaissais le film de Violaine Dejoie Robin dont est extrait la deuxième vidéo. Par contre je ne connaissais pas le film de Gaby sur Manu Kerjean. Super. J'attire votre attention sur le fête qu'il chante pour la première fois en "fest-noz" (ça devait plutôt s'appeler filaj ou nozwezh à l'époque) en 1927. Ce qui contredit d'autres trucs qu'on a pu lire ou entendre ici et là. Franchement ça vaudrait le coup de creuser.

 

PS : si quelqu'un possède le film Kan ha Diskan de Violaine Dejoie Robin, je suis intéressé, il n'est visiblement plus sur le marché.

Pas très audible, mais un enregistrement historique de Marc'harid Fulup, sur rouleau de cire, par François Vallée en 1900. Les célèbres Gousperoù ar Raned, popularisées par les soeurs Goadec.

Ce qui m'impressionne, c'est le recul qu'a Manu Kerjean pour sa pratique. Il travaille activement son "son". Quand il dit regretter de ne pas avoir retenu les longues chansons de ses parents, ça renvoie aussi au fait qu'il a clairement fait un choix, de chanter à danser, en imposant une esthétique qui lui est propre et nourrie par les sonneurs..... Ca fait réfléchir.

Moi je reviens de la fête du sirop alors j'écoute ça...

 

Notez que la dame qui ouvre et ferme la vidéo était là et nous a chanté deux chansons au cabaret (97 ans quand même).

Pour ceux qui s'intéressent à la gavotte ;) , je signale un article que peu de chercheurs doivent trouver tant il est bien caché : "Quelles modifications a entraîné pour la danse le passage de la gavotte chantée à la gavotte accompagnée aux instruments ?" de Naïk Raviart. La communication, accompagnée d'exemples, avait été très intéressante.

Je reviendrai ultérieurement sur la conférence. Je suis super déçu, je voulais voir les films. Mais c'était très intéressant.

Non, ils précisent bien qu'il y a un projet de version commentée des films. Ce qui est vraiment une bonne nouvelle !

(le truc ultime serait bien sûr d'avoir tous les films des époux Guilcher commentés, je sais on a le droit rêver)
